Kristen Anne Bell is an American actress and performer born in the year 1980. Parents were Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier who are both news director on television. Her family was birthed in Huntington Woods Michigan. She was born in the town of Huntington Woods, Michigan, to the family of a Polish mother and a father who is German, English Irish, Scottish as well as Irish. Kristen's passion for acting was recognized at an early age. In 1992, Kristen attended her first audition. She was given a part of Raggedy Ann And Andy. Bell was contacted by an agent by her mother before the age of 13 and was cast as a model in newspapers and television commercials. In addition, she is beginning private acting lessons. Bell played an uncredited character in the movie Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell was a student at Shrine Catholic High School and was part of music and the drama club. The Wizard of Oz was presented by the high school, and she was awarded the role of Dorothy. Bell went to New York City for the Tisch School of the Arts to study musical theatre upon graduating. Bell left the university in 2001 to take on the character of Becky of Tom Sawyer. In 2001, she made her first credit debut with the role of Becky Pootie Tang. However the scene she played was removed out of the movie and she only appears in the credits. Bell was in the film with Angela Bettis, Liam Neeson as well as in The Crucible Broadway performance of The Crucible in 2002.
